Running in Heels started as my creative outlet for everything I found around the web (also, my friends and family told me to stop sending them so many emails with the subject lines "SO COOL, READ THIS, CHECK IT OUT, etc.). With a little help from photoshop here and there I'm happy to have a lovely little place I'm proud of.

Hey, I'm Emily!

I'm learning how to conquer NYC after two years here, finally a graduate with an MSW in tow and a lover of all things pretty, creative, inspiring, fashionable, and design-y. One of these days, I'm going to figure out what to do with my life. 

 In the meantime, I can be found window shopping, crafting, and thinking about how I'd rather be in Paris. or Disney. or Disneyland PARIS. Additionally, the most awesome people I can think of include Julia Child, Kathleen Kelly, Mother Teresa, and any member of my fantastic family. 

As you can imagine, I tend to run around like crazy all the time, usually while wearing my most wonderful pairs of shoes. Also, I still haven't quite lived down that time I broke my ankle because I was jumping on a trampoline in high heels. In the snow.
